Sovereign Reversions' original shares were issued under the Business Expansion Scheme. Some shareholders will have acquired shares as a result of share exchange offers for companies whose shares were also issued under the Business Expansion Scheme. In addition, Sovereign Reversions changed tax status on 1 May 2004 and its shares have been treated as Business Assets from that date.

Capita Registrars (see Contact Us) keep a record of your name, address and number of shares owned and can arrange the issue of a duplicate certificate.

Please report the loss of a certificate to Capita Registrars as soon as possible so that a “stop” can be put on that certificate.

Before a replacement certificate can be issued, you will be sent an indemnity form to complete should a dispute over ownership arise at a later stage.

Dividends are paid twice-yearly, normally in February and August. The group did not declare an interim dividend in February 2009.

Yes, if you hold ordinary shares and live in the UK or in certain other countries covered by the transcontinental automated payment service. Log onto your account and download the relevant form from Capita Registrars’ website or contact Capita Registrars for further information.

Capita Registrars operates a Dividend Reinvestment Plan on our behalf through which dividends can be reinvested to buy ordinary shares in Sovereign Reversions. You can elect to have your dividends reinvested or request an application form as follows:

If you change your address, please inform Capita Registrars (see Contact Us) as soon as possible to ensure you receive all shareholder communications and dividends.

You can advise a change of address by logging onto the Capita Registrars site and downloading the relevant form.

Alternatively, write to the Registrars, giving the following details:

• your full name as shown on your share certificates
• your previous address
• your new address
• your shareholder account number

• include a copy of any legal documentation such as a marriage certificate or Deed Poll. If you revert to your maiden name as a result of separation or divorce, a copy of supporting documentation must be sent to the Registrars.

Yes. In most cases you can transfer shares to someone you know by completing a stock transfer form rather than using a stockbroker. You can download a stock transfer form from Capita Registrars’ website.

You can view your account details on Capita Registrars’ website. This will show your holding, its current value, your registered address and any dividend mandate arrangements. Otherwise, please contact Capita Registrars.

Your name probably appears on the share register more than once. Please contact Capita Registrars for advice on how to amalgamate your shareholdings.

In arriving at net asset value, Sovereign Reversions uses independent professional valuers to provide a tenanted value of its investment portfolio. Embedded value adjusts net asset value by substituting the open market value of the properties for the tenanted value of the portfolio, net of taxation.
